"Too long has Flaminius been skimming off the top of tax collections he has been making for Apulia. The farmers there have been taxed to death and have begged me to lend them my ear. I have heard their complaints and it is time to end the tyranny. I call on everyone to vote to prosecute Flaminius. I nominate Flamininus as prosecutor. If he has anything to add I invite him to add the sordid details of Flaminius' excesses as tax collector in Apulia."
