Senate Phase
Julius addresses the Senate:
We have a very large threat to Rome, one that needs a very strong military to deal with it. The highest rated leader we have, unfortunately, has too much influence to be trusted with more.
Therefore, I propose that the next most skilled leader, with the lowest influence outside of my faction be chosen as field consul....that would be Aemilius. As for the Rome consul I nominate Sulpicius....as his faction has been... under represented in the consul department. Please vote for these people....for the good of Rome.
If this is not acceptable....I reluctantly propose Cornelius from my faction as the field consul...since his influence is very small. With Papirius as Rome Consul....again because of his low influence. May the gods save Rome from those who feel they can govern Rome on their own.
I will vote yes on the first proposal, and will only vote yes on the second if the first fails.
The Clerk of the Senate notes that Aemilius already is serving as Consul, and may not do so for a second year in a row. Therefore, the first proposal in invalid and the second proposal shall be the one up for vote in the Senate.
The proposal is Cornelius and Papirius as Consuls. Voting order is Arborophilia, Coronus, 100% Loyalus, Caelestis Genus, and Finlandia. Arborophila has already cast 10 votes in favor.
