Congratulations to Kieth Marple on his resounding victory!
Christopher Hunt (The Greenies):
Good game. Thanks to Chris for running the
game. Got a 6pt development with VPs for Alien cards but
never saw an alien card afterwards.
Keith Marple (The Space Age Caananites):
Very fun game, thank you all for playing. Things really came
together for me in an unusual way in this game, between the opening
hand novelty world synergy, to some nice military cards to keep me
ahead in rare/novelty worlds, and even drawing the Hidden Fortress at
the end. Thank you Chris for running it seamlessly as
always. I've found a new appreciation for this game and look
forward to bringing it back to my irl gaming group.
Bill Scharf (AAnn):
Thanks for running the game, and congratulations to Keith for winning
it. Almost second place, I had my usual so-so luck with cards, not as
bad as last game though! I started with production and consume worlds,
just missed out on a couple of goal cards, then got a lot, a lot! Of
six cost develop cards, probably eight or nine of them over the course
of the game, some helped with other cards, some did not. Fun to play as
usual.
Chris Hibbert (Exponential Growth):
Well played Keith. Starting around turn 9, you were generating VPs from
consume at a rate I could see I wasn't going to keep up with.
I should have ended the game a turn earlier, and I would have been 10
points closer. I thought the 8 points I was going to get that last turn
would move me closer, but you totally eclipsed that amount.
Also Well Done to Bill, who nearly passed me for second place in the last round or two.
That was a lot of fun. Thanks to Chris Hassler for running it so well.
Kevin Wilson (Tigris Imperium):
I got too focused on firsts and mosts and didn’t try early enough for
6-cost VP cards. My homeward was military but other than the first
couple of cards I had I didn’t see any until it was too late to catch
Keith. I didn’t flip to another thought quickly enough and failed to
spread VP opportunities.
Congrats to Keith. Thanks to Chris for running the game and to the rest for the play. It was fun.
