Turn 1

TFWNN plays The Librarian, gaining 4 cards.

PIKES plays Mr. Boggis, taking $2 from each other player and placing a minion in Dimwell.

TTG plays Rosie Palm, placing a minion in Dragon's Landing and giving PIKES a card, gaining $2 in return.

TDBG plays Harga's House of Ribs, gaining $3 and playing a minion in Nap Hill.

Turn 2

TFWNN plays The Beggars' Guild on PIKES, gaining 2 cards from them, and placing a minion in Isle of Gods.

PIKES plays The Thieves' Guild, taking $2 from every other player and placing a minion and Trouble marker in Dragon's Landing.

TTG plays Groat, placing a minion and Trouble marker in Dimwell.

TDBG plays the Ankh Morpork Sunshine Dragon Sanctuary.  TFWNN gives them a card.  PIKES gives them a card..  TTG gives them $1.  TDBG then plays Pink Pussycat Club, gaining $3, and finally Mr. Gryle, gaining $1 and removing a PIKES minion and Trouble marker from The Shades.

Turn 3

TFWNN plays The History Monks, drawing 4 cards from the discard pile and placing a minion in Unreal Estate.

PIKES plays Foul Ol' Ron, moving a TDBG minion and Trouble marker from The Scours to Isle of Gods, plays Rincewind, drawing Explosion in The Shades to no effect and moving a minion and Trouble marker from Dolly Sisters to Nap Hill, then playing Mr. Pin and Mr. Tulip, removing a TFWNN minion and Trouble marker from Isle of Gods and gaining $1.

TTG plays Hex, drawing 3 cards and declining to build.

TDBG plays Mr. Bent, taking a $10 loan, then plays The Fools' Guild on PIKES, who pays $5 to avoid it.  TDBG then places a minion in Seven Sleepers.

Turn 4

TFWNN plays Leonard of Qurim, drawing 4 cards.

PIKES plays Here'N'Now, rolling a 2 to no effect, then CMOT Dibbler, rolling a 5 to no effect, then Dr. Whiteface on TDBG, who plays Wallace Sonky to avoid it.  PIKES places a minion and Trouble marker in Isle of Gods.

TTG plays The Bank of Ankh Morpork, taking a $10 loan, Sergent Angua, removing the Trouble marker in Dragon's Landing, then plays The Mended Drum, spending $12 for a building in Dragon's Landing and gaining $2.

TDBG plays The Seamstress' Guild, giving a card to PIKES and taking $2 in return and placing a minion in Longwall.

Turn 5

TFWNN plays Pink Pussycat Club, gaining $3 and Harga's House of Ribs, gaining $3 and placing a minion and Trouble marker in Seven Sleepers.

PIKES plays Nobby Nobbs, taking $3 from TDBG, then plays Queen Molly, placing a minion and Trouble marker in Longwall and taking 2 cards from TFWNN.

TTG collects $2 from Dragon's Landing, plays the Sonky Shop, discarding a card for $1 and spending $6 for a building in The Scours.

TDBG plays Adora Belle Dearheart, moving a minion from The Shades to The Hippo, placing a minion in Dimwell, and spending $12 for a building in The Hippo.

TFWNN plays The Royal Mint, spending $6 for a building in Dolly Sisters and gaining $5.

PIKES plays The Peeled Nuts.

TTG collects $2 from Dragon's Landing, plays Drumknott, The Post Office, collecting $4 and placing a minion in Small Gods, The Fire Brigade on TFWNN, who removes the building in Dolly Sisters.  TTG then plays The Patrician's Palace, spending $6 for a building in The Shades, gains $4, and places a minion in Nap Hill.

TDBG collects $2 from The Hippo, plays Moist von Lipwig, placing a minion and Trouble marker in Small Gods, gaining $3 and two cards, and playing Gimlet's Dwarf Delicatessen, gaining $3 and placing a minion and Trouble marker in Unreal Estate.

Turn 7

TFWNN plays The Agony Aunts, removing a blue minion and Trouble from Seven Sleepers, gaining $2, and placing a minion and Trouble marker in The Scours.

PIKES plays Inigo Skinner, removes a yellow minion and Trouble from The Scours, and collects $2.

TTG collects $2 from Dragon's Landing, uses The Shades to place Trouble in The Hippo, uses The Scours to discard a card for $2, and plays Sir Charles Lavatory, gaining $4 and spending $6 for a building in Dolly Sisters.

TDBG collects $2 from The Hippo and plays Dr. Hix, drawing Fire, which starts in Dimwell.  As there is no building in Dimwell, there is no effect.  TDBG places a Trouble marker in Seven Sleepers then plays Lord Downey, removing a blue minion and Trobule from Longwall, gaining $3, and spending $12 to build a building in Longwall.

Turn 8

TFWNN plays Sacharissa Crisplock, gaining $7 and placing a minion and Trouble marker in Dolly Sisters.

PIKES plays The Dean, draws Trolls, who show up in The Shades (Trouble added), Dimwell, and Dragon's Landing (Trouble added).  PIKES then removes a red minion and Trouble marker from Unreal Estate and plays The Dysk, gaining $2 and declining to build.

TTG collects $2 from Dragon's Landing, uses The Scours to discard a card to gain $2, plays Deep Dwarves to place a minion in Dolly Sisters, and plays Sergent Detritus to remove Trouble from Dolly Sisters and Dragon's Landing.

TDBG collects $2 from The Hippo, $1 from Longwall, and plays 'HELLO', removing a green minion and Trouble from Small Gods and a yellow minion and Trouble from Nap Hill, and spending $12 for a building in Nap Hill.  PIKES plays Gaspode to stop the removal in Small Gods.

Turn 9

TFWNN plays Groat, placing a minion and Trouble marker in Unreal Estate.

PIKES plays the Professor of Recent Runes, drawing the event Subsidence.  TTG pays $8.  TDGB pays $6.  PIKES then plays Mr. Teatime, gaining $3 and removing the Troll and Trouble marker from Dimwell, and Zorgo the Retro-Phrenologist, declining to change his personality and spending $6 to build in Dimwell.

TTG collects $2 from Dragon's Landing, uses The Scours to discard a card to gain $2, uses The Shades to place a Trouble marker in Dimwell, and plays Ruby, placing a minion in Small Gods and declining to build.

TDBG collects $2 from The Hippo, $1 from Longwall, and $1 from Nap Hill, and plays The Duckman moving a red minion from The Scours to The Shades.

Turn 10

TFWNN plays Dr. Cruces, removing a blue minion and Trouble from The Hippo and gaining $3.

PIKES uses Dimwell to spend $3 to place a minion and Trouble marker in Longwall, plays the Senior Wrangler, drawing Riots to no effect, placing a minion in Seven Sleepers, then playing Sergent Colon, removing a Trouble marker from The Shades and placing a minion marker in The Hippo.

TTG collects $2 from Dragon's Landing and plays Willikins, placing a minion and Trouble marker in The Shades.

TDBG collects $2 from The Hippo, $1 from Longwall, $1 from Nap Hill, and plays Hubert, forcing TTG to give $3 to TFWNN and placing a minion in The Shades.

Turn 11

TFWNN plays Harry King, placing a minion and Trouble in Dolly Sisters, and discarding 3 cards for $6.

PIKES plays Cosmo Lavish, paying $2 to TTG.  TTG removes a red minion and Trouble marker from Dolly Sisters.  PIKES plays Canting Crew, moving a yellow minion (and removing Trouble) from Small Gods to Dragon's Landing (and adding Trouble there) and placing a minion in Unreal Estate.

TTG collects $2 from Dragon's Landing, plays The Mob, placing Trouble in Dolly Sisters and a minion in The Shades, and Mr. Slant, collecting $10 for Dolly Sisters and spending $18 for a building in Small Gods.

TDBG plays Buggy Swires, removing the Trouble marker from Longwall.

Turn 12

TFWNN plays The Clacks, drawing 2 cards and gaining $2 then plays Dwarves, placing 2 minions in Dolly Sisters.

PIKES reveals that he is Lord Vetinari and that he has minions in 9 different areas, winning the game!

End of Game Statements

Bill Scharf (TFWNN):  As always, a fun game. Thanks for running it. As for the other players, I’m guessing yellow was a lord, and blue was vimes. I got a lot of cards at the beginning, but minimal cards that allowed me to play other cards, and not many assassin cards…I think I had two during the game!

Andy York (TTG):  Great job to Kevin in edging ahead of the rest of the pack. I kept dancing near the victory line, but was thwarted every time. Good game played by all. Appreciate the GMing effort by Chris.

Christopher Hunt (TDBG):  Thank to chris for running the game so well.  Congratulations to Kevin on his fine win.  Went card - dry too many interrupt cards, no discard card, no assassins, no builds.

Kevin Wilson (PIKES):  Too often I try to hide my character, make misleading plays unless I’m Vimes, then it’s just keep others from winning and run out the deck.  This time, just threw caution to the wind and went for the minions everywhere. I had some good cards early then none for a few turns.  Too many events and interrupts to get much done.  Luckily no one else got to the end and finally the cards turned.  A couple of lucky events that didn’t negatively impact things but let me toss of a card or 2 to draw more and the minions finally came around again. Always a fun game. Thanks to Chris for running and the others for playing.
