End of Game Statements
Bill Scharf (K-99): Thanks for running the game, and congratulations to Chris g. For winning it. As for me, bad cards and poor combos did me in. Worst round was five RL/RR cards, three u-turns, and one one-move card, but it wasn’t the only round that saw one move card! Crab legs (the better of the two option cards I was originally dealt) was pretty useless, I was able to use it once in the 12 rounds of the game. But I’ve gotten cards in other games that allowed me to cakewalk to a win, so it all evens out. As usual, I had a great time playing. Thanks everybody!
Dave Hooton (Boomba): So, returning to a starting point meant going to any starting point rather returning to one's starting point. I could have gone to #4 on Turn 11. Oh, well. Thanks for running the game, Chris.
Chris Geggus (GEGS): Seems strange to actually play the game as a straight race game - which, of course, it is meant to be. For a change almost all my turns allowed me to move exactly (or almost exactly) as I wanted to actually do. I was also as confused as David as I wondered why Dave was not awarded the win when he touched his last flag. Chris corrected me and I did actually follow up by asking if any starting point was acceptable and was told yes. Always fun and thanks to Chris again.
Andy York (Dalekbot):
Well, not sure Radio Control is worth it. No real advantage this game,
and in one case, even helped Boomba claim a flag! (You're welcome, by
the way).
Besides that, a lackluster outing. I'll declare I took last place on
the field. Congrats to Chris G for a solid win and to Chris H for
helming things.
