Final Result

The players' identiies were as follows:  TTG was Lord Rust, the Blue Meanies were Dragon King of Arms, PIKES was Commander Vimes, and Standards Society was Lord de Worde (originally Crysoprase before Zorgo).  As the game ended with Riots we tally points.  Each minion on the board is worth 5 points, each building is face value, and money on hand (minus loans due) is worth face value.  Note that anything in an area with a Demon does not count, so the minions and buildings in Small Gods, The Shades, and Dimwell do not count.

Congratulations to Andy York on his victory!

End of Game Statements

Kevin Wilson (PIKES):  Well, I certainly didn’t expect that.  First time I can recall where Vimes was in play and didn’t win, and of course I’m Vines.  I was just trying to get the 2 extra cards in play that Pondor brought in to get some trouble markers off the board and maybe squelch a control or two.  Just bad luck of the draw I guess.  But good for Andy who was running away with it if we didn’t hit the end of the deck.  Being Vimes I wasn’t putting minions all over the board but using them to deny control.  Seems we had more trouble markers than usual too. A couple of turns ago there were 8 on the board and I couldn’t get them off and feared the Dragon King would come up and win.

Anyway, congrats to Andy on a comfortable tally and thanks to Chris for running a game that is becoming more fun the more I play it.  It’s a nice, semi-mindless diversion from some of the others.

Let’s go again soon.

Andy York (TTG):  That is a surprising result, didn't even realize the game could end that way. The final score was also a shocker - only a fortuitus set of circumstances combined for the win. Thanks to the other participants and, as always, thanks to Chris for helming another fun game!

Bill Scharf (Standards Society):  Congrats to Andy on his win. Board filled out quickly this game...stuff all over the place. Thanks, Chris, for running it.

Christpher Hunt (Blue Meanies): I much enjoyed.  Thanks to Chris for his expert federation.  Nice to see Mr Vimes not win.  It's always 1 more turn and I will win.
