That 5 house builds 2 or 3 rounds ago was killer! Well done.

I tried something a bit different this time going with my first Tribune
early to get off cycle with the others. My thought was it may open a
few more options and allow me to go for some other cards besides
Mercators and Architects. But Bill gobble up all those producer cards
and that last house was critical, I missed it a lot.

Good game, I got closer to winning than most. I wasn’t in a winning
position, but if I didn’t trigger end game someone else would have, and
I could use those seven points so… haven’t played Greece before,
interesting board. My one defense move was picking up the weaver, it
wouldn’t help me, but those that could use it left it there. Game note,
don’t do that in future games I’m in please, if I’m out of the running
for first I’ll take it. Thanks Chris for running the game, and
congratulations to David on his win.
Dave Hooton: Like Kevin said, it was a close one.
The Venus expansion allowed me to do a 3-tool Smith/Magister/Mercator(3
tools for 3 food)/Colonist sequence that maxed out my colonists, which
later allowed me to do the 5-house Architect build which made up for
the lost time.
I had my eye on Bill and didn't realize that Kevin was doing even better.
