Coronus:
Sulpicius whispers to Claudius, "Does it not seem odd to you that at least one of the concessions that CORONUS lost this year should not be returned to us?
Claudius sighs, "It's that damn politics of envy that Senators Clintonius and Kennedius have so skillfully employed over the years. It's back"
Valerius arise and declares "CORONUS casts 8 votes Nay. Clerk, that makes it, what, 21-8 so far?"
The clerk replies that it is actually 19 to 6, since Fabius and Valerius are on their way to Sicily, and Sardinia-Corsica, respectively.
100%Loyalus: 8 votes in favor
Caelestis Genus: 8 votes in favor
Motion passes 35 to 6.
Furius continues:
We now have to discuss our War plans. Senator Cunctator suggested we should fight both Wars and I agree with him. I propose we recruit 16 Legions, send our Veteran Legion along with 22 other Legions, and 7 Fleets with Senator Flaminius to fight Carthage. I'll take our remaining 3 Legions and 3 Fleets to civilize those barbaric Illyrians, who have dare to disrupt our trade routes, and take advantage of our War against Carthage. I hope to show those barbarians that numbers is not enough against our well disciplined Legions, but in event I get stalemated, I shall hold them until Flaminius returns from his victory against Carthage, which will be no less than total destruction of Carthage City itself! Carthage needs to be the example to these other barbarians that Rome will come to the aid of our Allies and our Legions won't stop until the last flame of rebellion is put out!! The Greeks and Egyptians need to recognize that Rome is now the premier Power of the Mediterranean!!!
Furius takes his seat:
As before, the voting order is: Finlandia, Arborophilia, Coronus, 100%Loyalus, and Caelestis Genus.
