End of Game Statements
Dave Hooton:
This was a very tight race, with Christopher having a narrow lead going
into the endgame. Things definitely turned around for me with the
purchase of the Gardens, and much maneuvering had to be done to ensure
that I could populate my last building. However, the main thing I did
in the end was to stand out of Kevin's way, since the best moves for
him also helped me catch up to Christopher.

I kind of thought with only 3 more paths would be open but I had more
doors shut right in front of me with just 3 than with the usual
4. I had an ongoing chat with Dave and I think I’m just not
anticipating others actions enough. This time, I was slow making
the switch to income and never had a chance until far too late.
Oh well, another loss is another learning exercise.
Congrats to Dave for the impressive but tight win. Thanks to
Christopher for playing and to Chris for offering/running the game and
keeping me on the straight and narrow.
Shall we go again? Someday the light bulb will go off and I’ll
settle in on this one more than so far.
