Lakefront Resorts win. Congratulations to Chris Geggus on his victory!

End of Game Statements

Christopher Hunt (Terralabs):  Congratulations to Chris G on his win and to Chris H for running the game so helpfully.  Terralabs is the most fun to play but starts with so little money.

Kevin Wilson (Cheung Shing Mars):  As always, thanks to Chris for running the game so we can play.  Congrats to Gegs on another nice, although tighter than most, win.  I started off strong but just couldn’t keep the pace later in the game.  Toward the end a couple of choices kind of forced my path and one of those just didn’t come to fruition and I lost the shot at one of the awards and a couple of VP on a card.  Oh well, maybe next game, which I also see just started!
Kevin Croskery (Pristar):  Thanks Chris H for running the game.  Nice one Mr Geggus but who gave him his favourite card? Pets! The spread between 2nd and 4th was only 4 points - close game. Pristar is an interesting Corporation, pushing you down the route of not bothering too much about TR until you have enough Heat and Greenery to offset it's turn bonus. Bring on the next one!
Chris Geggus (Valley Trust):  Thanks all. I was surprised to actually be that far ahead as I thought it was much closer. Have to say that it was the first time I have ever relied on microbes to snatch a win. The microbe card combination did me a lot of favours. The 2 awards I grabbed fitted into my plan as well, so I can only say that all the stars aligned for me in this game. As Kevin said, I do think that Pets are overly powerful if played early in the game as rarely do games see less than a dozen cities and sometimes quite a few more (Tharsis helps of course). Thanks to Chris as ever.

The numbers in the Resource Marker column indicate the box, numbered from left to right, while the number in parenthesis is the number of resources to be gained from that space.  N/A indicates that the marker is not in place because a card that can accept those resources is not in play.  Text in the colony spaces indicates either the owner of the colony, or the benefit of establishing a colony there.
