End of Game Statements

Chris Geggus (Inventrix):  My first game and really enjoyed it. Found it flowed so much better than Race for the Galaxy and some very clever tweaks of cards to make them playable in this format, whilst still keeping the feel of the main game. It may look simple, but there are some clever tactical points which need to be considered and I suspect that I only spotted a fraction of them during the game. Roll on the next one. Thank Chris for excellent control and thanks to my fellows for good, clean fun as ever.

Kevin Wilson (Phoblog):  After two games I’m still somewhat amazed how quickly the game suddenly turns and races to finish.  14 rounds in the first one, 13 this time and most of the advancements on the O2 and temp tracks seem to come in the final 2-4 turns.  Really rewards that successful engine build early and doing that will come with more plays and more familiarity with the cards.

Congrats to Chris on a convincing, tight win.  As usual, thanks to all for playing and to Chris for running such a great game.

Kevin Croskery (DevTech):  Well that was a lot closer than I expected. Like Chris, also my first game although I have played it solo quite a few times. I could see Chris running away with heat production which I could not get going despite being able to play Development Cards for big discounts (some cost me 0MC) so I decided to focus on VP cards instead which got me closer than I thought it would to the eventual winner. Well done Chris G for the win and thanks to Chris H for a well managed game.
