Chris Geggus: Well played Chris. Thought I was a lot closer to you, but I wasn't expecting Kevin to craft as that gave you an easy ship and we all then scored more points than Kevin! Always enjoyable, especially with such tough opposition. Just as I like it! Thanks to the other Chris H. for controlling the masses.
Chris Hibbert: Thanks to Chris Hassler for running the game. Very smooth, as always.
I find that having either Tobacco or Coffee, plus the office is very
powerful. In this game when no one produced Coffee, that meant that the
Trading house often ended up with only three goods, so being able to
sell a second copy of something was very valuable. Latter I added the
Harbor, which buffed my VPs. Since I had the University pretty early, I
had plenty of colonists, and would have liked to have the Fortress, but
Chris Geggus beat me to that, so I had to settle for City Hall, which
was still pretty valuable.
Thanks for the game everyone.
Kevin Wilson: Always seemed to come up just short or just too late, as usual. Still seem to have plans that should work so I guess I need to focus on execution and timing. Congrats to Chris, nice win. Thanks to the rest for the play and to Chris for keeping us honest.
