End of Game Statements
Kevin Wilson (Royal Manticoan Historical Society):
Still a classic and a favorite. And, as usual being handed the
U.S. was a killer. Even going late, after playing the Romans, I
thought I was in the hunt until the last epoch. Just too hard to
recover going late in that epoch with a weaker power.
Congrats to Gegs on the narrowest of wins. Thanks to all for playing and to Chris for running the game.
Chris Geggus (Guide to European Geographical Studies): Really enjoyed that as it was one that I had to seriously work through to give myself the best chance. Even then, I had to hope that Christopher picked up GB at the end as he was furthest back and I couldn't see his score being enough to catch me. Just looking at the map I see that I still have Epoch 3 armies on the board and I think it was these small, but vital points across the globe that helped my score in the final count. Never won before with the Mughals, so more than chuffed with that. Thanks all and thanks Chris yet again.
Christopher Hunt (The Minotaurs): Should have got 4 move in th last phase still not good enough. Had no idea one could score as hihgh as I did on the last move. Congarutations to Chris on his victory. And to Chris for his management of the game.
Bill Scharf (Bad Cards): Another game I really enjoy, thanks Chris H, for running it, and congratulations to Chris G for winning it.
Andy York (Republic of Texas): Great job by Chris G just edging out Dave. Not on of my better efforts, but fun game to play regardless. Thanks, as always, to Chris H for guiding us through the Epochs.
Dave Anderson (Romulus & Remus):
Congrats to Chris for edging me out. My dice on Epoch 5 and 7 just
crushed my hopes of winning. Losing 6 armies on 1 space Come on. No one
can win like that. Thanks for Chris for running the game. Sign me up
for the next game.
