End of Game Statements
Chris Hibbert:
The most important bit of luck was that I was the only one who took
Coffee, and I got it into production quickly. I diversified my
production as I could, so I had sugar, indigo, corn and coffee.
With a Small Market, and a perpetually open trading house, I always had
plenty of money, so I bought a Factory, which funded further expansion.
Wharf and Harbor meant I started raking in VP chits. I was only able to
get one of the bonus buildings, but since I was able to populate it
early, I was the only one to get bonus VPs once the chits ran out
early. Thanks, everyone. Good game.
Kevin Wilson:
All those crops rotting on the docks in the Caribbean and not getting
back to the old world. Oh well. Congrats to Chris on the
impressive win. Thanks to the others for another fun play and to Chris
for running the game.
Maybe I should have put some sugar out there but I took a chance on some random plantation draws that didn’t help that much.
