7 Wonders -- Wonder Pack, Leaders, Cities, Armada

Notes

Your Armada board will be to the right (or below, depending on your screen resolution) of your regular player board, and any islands you have will be to the right of or below the Armada board.  When you play a card or build a stage of your wonder, if you have the available resources, I will automatically have you advance in the appropriate shipping track.  If you can get the resource from one of your neighbors, you will have to specify that in your orders.  Just for clarity sake, I will be referring to the four shipping lanes as follows:  Red:  Military, Yellow: Commercial; Blue: Civic; Green: Exploration.

Congratulations to Kieth on his victory!

End of Game Statements

Chris Geggus (Ephesus):  Well played Keith. Good to see something other than science winning and 25 points for Guilds was a game changer. I totally screwed up by not realising all my last 3 leaders needed gold to bring them out and I had left myself with nothing for age 2. Playing without a leader cost me a good few points and then being hit for another 5 demerits at the end finished any hope I had. First time I played the military card for a long while and at least it was fun.

Nice game, enjoyed it and thanks once more to Chris H. for his oversight and forebearance.

Dave Hooton (Giza):  I did well, but Keith did better so congratulations to Keith. Thanks, Chris, for running the game.
Kieth Marple (Alexandria):  Great game everyone, it was really fun.  I got a really powerful wonder to start, and then combined with Imhotep meant I could invest very few cards into resources.  I intended to go science as well, but got mostly blocked out or couldn’t pass up more valuable cards.  It was my first time with the Armada expansion and I liked the extra complexity.  Look forward to the next one, and thank you Chris H.!

Bill Scharf (Stonehenge):  Congratulations to Keith on his victory, and to Chris for running it. Fun game everybody!

Christopher Hunt (Helicarnassus):  Congratulations to keith on his victory and thanks to Chris H for his gming.  Tried the science route and got 55 science points and yet finished last with 49? Could not build my wonder but it spoiled not have made the difference.

Kevin Wilson (Rome):  Congrats to Keith for an impressive performance. Dave kept you on your toes! Thanks to Chris for running the game and the rest for playing. It was fun.

I passed on the first couple of science cards to come my way as I was focused on commercial to build up some cash. Then I saw a science card twice in the next 10 or so hands. By then I felt that chance had passed so I switched to civics card focus and eventually those dried up too.  Interesting some green starting to show again but too late.  Oh well.  Keeping a balance can be a challenge.
