End of Game Statements
Dave Hooton (Robinson Industries): Congratulations to Chris G. on his win. He had more microbes that a Wuhan market. He ran away with it in the final turn.
I came aboard with elements of a machine that had not been assembled,
such as two merchant fleets but not enough energy to power either, and
half of the cards in hand having prerequisites that were far from being
fulfilled. Fortunately, I was able to use my plants, a Research
Outpost, and the Ecological Zone both as a start on Desert Settler and
to maximize the financial return of Red Tourism.
Chris Geggus (Polyphemos): I'm not usually a fan of microbes in this game as I consider them rather underwhelming. However 6 cards all working in conjunction proved a powerful tool. Also managed to avoid the weighted costing of Polyphemus which I had never played before, but wanted to see if it was feasible. Guess it was as my engine fitted together well and helped me get active from the get go. Enjoyed it as ever. Thanks Chris H.
Andy York (Lakefront Resorts):
Another master class in playing TerraForming Mars by Chris G. -
excellent win. Chris H., I don't know how you manage GMing all the
games you do, but it is appreciated.
Kevin Wilson (Stormcraft): Absolutely ditto that!!!! How Cerberus does what he does is beyond my comprehension.
Once again, the tail end. As much as I truly love this game I
never seem to be in the hunt. I must pick a path and stick to it
rather than let the attractiveness of cards that come up move me in
other directions. Games with lots of choice but directed paths
seems to work well for me (Terra Mystica). Perhaps this one just
has too many available alternatives and I succumb to temptation.
But, I will keep trying!!
Congrats to Gegs for yet another impressive win. And THANKS! to CH for providing the venue.
Bill Scharf (UNMI):
Congratulations to Chris G for another win (winning so frequently must
be boring, still, I’d like to give it a try) and thanks to Chris H for
running it…impressive job as always…

The numbers in the Resource Marker column indicate the box, numbered from left to right, while the number in parenthesis is the number of resources to be gained from that space. N/A indicates that the marker is not in place because a card that can accept those resources is not in play. Text in the colony spaces indicates either the owner of the colony, or the benefit of establishing a colony there.
