Thanks to Chris H. for another well-run game.
I would have thought that if both Ecoline and Arklight were in a game
together, neither would excel. However, the latter played far more
relevant cards than the former.
There was a point where I was worried that playing the colony-related
cards would prevent me from playing all my important eco-cards, but
this fortunately turned out not to be the case.
Kevin Croskery (Helion): Thanks to Chris for running the game and well done Dave on another strong game. Lack of cash was my usual excuse - I had a nice floater engine but it produced very little in the way of VPs. First game ever where I had a minimal board presence, just the one city (missed in the VP calc but makes no difference...). On to the next one!
Chris Geggus (Teractor):
Well played Dave. Even without my faux pas, I would not have closed
that gap. Stupid on my part, but would not have made that mistake in a
live game. After a good start I ran out of point scoring cards and
couldn't grow enough on the board either. Looking forward to the next
one already. Thanks to Chris for his continued patience dealing with so
many pushy gamers.
