Governor Andy selects the Mayor, places a noble in San Juan and a colonist on the indigo plantation.  Kevin places a colonist on the indigo plantation.  Christopher places a colonist on the corn plantation.  Three colonists are placed on the colonist ship.

Kevin selects the Builder and builds a Small Indigo Plant (1 doubloon discount for Builder, 0 doubloons spent).  Christopher passes.  Andy builds a Small Indigo Plant (1 doubloon spent).

Christopher selects the Settler and takes a quarry.  Andy takes a tobacco plantation.  Kevin takes a corn plantation.

Kevin selects the Mayor and places a noble on the Small Warehouse and colonist on the corn plantation.  Christopher places a colonist on the Wharf.  Andy places a colonist on the Large Warehouse and moves a colonist from the sugar plantation to the corn plantation.

Christopher Hunt:  Thanks to Chris for running the game ably as always.  I don't understand the nobles game as you see I never got one.  Statred with the idea of a build strat then went to a trading one.  Lucky able to trade advantageously to build. Love factory.

Andy York: That ending snuck up on me! About a usual performance for me, not much to note.

Great job to Christopher on his solid victory and appreciate Chris's GMing skills.

Kevin Wilson:  It didn’t just sneak up on me I had it in my head the exact opposite. I kept watching the colonist/noble count for the end (which if correct was far away) when the expansion rule is colonist/noble count is IGNORED!  It’s only the VPs or filling an island that ends the game. I was convinced there was lots of time remaining.  Lesson learned.

Congrats to Christopher on an impressive (endgame aware) end; thanks to Andy for the play and to Chris for his usual exemplary job as GM.

I’m still deciding if I think 3-player is good or not.  Seems a single mistake is more damaging in 3-player than 4-player but 4-player too many options get blocked. Probably just my inability to make the switch from building to VP focus at the right time.
