This was a straightforward game for me. I stockpiled Jovian cards in my
hand while going for milestones. After Jovians had run their course, I
switched over to Venusian Animals and science cards.

Chris Geggus (Tharsis Republic): My early screw-up gave the game to Dave. I was under the impression that Polar Explorer was the bottom 3 rows, so placed my cities accordingly. When I tried to claim it Chris pointed out my error, but too late. I had lost that final Milestone. Not much I could do with a 10 point swing to Dave apart from keep plugging away and hoping to get lucky. Close, but not close enough. Well done to Dave and thanks to Chris again for running it.
Andy York (Philares): No real surprises or fumbles in this game for me. Getting the early discounts and resource bonuses certainly helped me along. Good job to Dave with his win, and thanks to Chris for his skilled GMing skills.
