Dave Hooton:  Congratulations to Bill on his win with an honorable mention to Chris G. My strategy took far too long to execute and I made a bad purchase on Round 1.

Bill Scharf:  Games move so fast in The zine, I bought a duchy rather than the oh so attractive laboratory when I got my first five point hand, bad long term strategy, but it worked, barely, in a short game. I got lucky.

Kevin Wilson:  I admit I’m still learning this game but for those of you more familiar, was this one odd? Several cards with no real value, the piles going down quickly. Hard to build much of anything. Lots of opportunities to play cards but not a lot of actions to do. A couple of times I was just short of what I needed for a Province so had to settle for a Duchy. Often though not even that. Estates just block things (I have learned that) but this time it was about the only way to get a point when only 1 pile was left before the end.

Congrats to Bill. Either got the jump or a right card now and then. Thanks to the rest for the game and to Chris, wherever he may be this weekend, for running it.

Christopher Hunt:  Thank to Chris for his patience, I got buy hand wrong.  Congratulations to Bikll on his excellent win.  I went for the long game, ironworks and a lot of vineyards. What I overlooked was that there were so few useful cards which meant the game ended quickly.  A major mistake. Next time avoid the villages buy silver instead.

Chris Hibbert:  Thanks for the game everyone. I enjoyed it, even if I didn't do that well. I thought I could find a way to use both moneylender and Remodel, but they came up together too often, so I seldom got to use the moneylender. I thought the remodel could be used to turn remodels into gold and gold into province, but again, I didn't get those opportunities often enough. It looks like Bill's pretty simple strategy worked much better.

I was pretty sure that Vineyards wouldn't be valuable, So I didn't expect people to get potions. I failed to see that people would gain potions with Ironworks for the extra card rather than the ability to buy Vineyard. I'm surprised no one found an opportunity to Remodel Potions into Gold.
