Kevin Wilson:  I nice tight one, going right down to the wire. That 4 house build by Bill to grab the Concordia card almost did it. I saw 3 of them but 4 caught me a bit off guard. I thought I might get one final shot for something. At least that last Prefect was enough.

Excellent use by Bill of the new Venus VP option. Gaining all 3 Venus cards really powered that path. As I was going the non-brick route (0 brick cities) I really focused on those other cards. I passed a few times on the Smith and feared he’d get gobbled up but did pick it up toward the end. But going that route did make houses more expensive at times.

Bill Scharf: Good game, closer than most for me. I went all in on the Venus cards, it was the new dynamic in the game and I wanted to see what I could do with them. The flexibility of having two functions on a card was great, highly recommended. I had hoped my Minerva cards would give me enough points that bypassing Jupiter, Saturn and Mars would give me a win anyway, but not quite. Thanks for running it Chris. And congrats to Kevin on his win, defensive placement of colonists, very nice!
