Congratulations to Chris Geggus on his victory!
End of Game Statements
Chris Geggus: Really
have to concentrate with 5 players. I got lucky with the Perpetual
Student and the Bookcase together which covered my food most of the
game. Always enjoyable as an exercise in point accumulation which I
prefer sometimes. Thanks to Chris.
Bill Scharf:
The only thing I did differently in this game was I wrote down the
various point scoring tiers and made my selections based on that. If I
couldn’t advance in one category, I advanced in another. It was pretty
easy to switch gears this game, was it this new system, me, or just the
luck of the game that brought me second place? I know, I know, it was
the luck of the game, right? Lol.
Andy York: I actually
thought I'd place higher, but obviously other folks' actions more than
canceled out the gains I'd expected. Always something new to learn from
in this game, as well as from the sharks that also are playing.
Congrats to Chris G for his well deserved win! Thanks to Chris H for his excellent GMing skills.
Christopher Hunt: Congratulations to Chris. Thanks to Chris H for running the game so well. I lost the plot early on. Played yoke way too early. Note to self do not play at 3 in the morning .
Dave Hooton: Congratulations to Chris G. on his victory and thanks to Chris H. for running it.
I planned my game around using the Businessman to get many major and
minor improvements. Unfortunately, too many of my worthwile
improvements had prerequisites of two or three occupations, and there
was a long line to get them. I didn't get to use Businessman for the
second time until Round 9.
