Titan is just loads of fun, and nostalgic for me as me and my buddies
played it so much back in the day (when we were not playing Diplomacy,
same group of buds.) In this game I got ahead pretty early, so
frankly it was good play from Bill that kept his Titan away from me for
so long - until he finally lost almost all his other legions so his
Titan stack had to move.

This game brought back a lot of memories. I spent a lot of this game
relearning strategy. Recruitment can be tricky, no one recruited a
warbear or unicorn all game long, in a game that saw us run out of
gargoyles, cyclops, gorgons, rangers and hydras! The different battle
boards and character abilities (flying, ability to fight/move, etc.)
adds to the game, thanks Chris for running it.
David got a quick lead on recruitment, which is an issue in this game.
In most games you can pound on the leader, but since so much of this
game is board position that can’t (usually) be done, at all. The rich
keep getting richer so to speak. I wouldn’t play this face to face in a
small group because of complete player elimination; due to a few bad
rolls at the beginning you could be eliminated and just sitting around,
in an email situation, that’s not a problem. I had fun, I’d play it
again (not ftf!), one day the die rolls WILL work in my favor!
Christopher Hunt: Good game. Thanks to Chris for running it. Made
a mistake sent the wrong move attacked with my titan rather than buy
angel then made the mistake of leaving the Titan exposed.
