Congratulations to Dave Hooton on his very close victory!
Dave Hooton (Factorum):
This was anyone's game, although I suspected that I would be in the top
three. I entered the game with no specific plan except to increase my
heat production to get temperature TRs. Then in Generation 3, I got
Insulation and found a way to back door myself into the Investor
Milestone. After that, it was all about the Forecaster award and using
the Predator to get me second place for the Zoologist.
Chris Geggus (Philares):
Interesting as I never bother to check on my victory point score from
cards played, but simply assume an average'ish kind of score. However
getting 4 this time around was an unexpected shortfall. Inventrix was
worse, but 2 Milestones helped there. Note to self to look for more
card VPs next time around. Always fun, even when struggling, so
congrats to winner, all players and thanks to Chris H again.
