End of Game Statements
Chris Geggus (Barcelona):
Many thanks to Chris for his patience as I moaned and whinged about
every attack result and disputed every calculation. However, as a game
I do love this. In view of the downtime and the possible analysis
paralysis, playing by mail is really the way to enjoy it most - and not
because I won this time around. I got lucky a few times, but Barcelona
is a strange beast as you need to expand (obviously), but your
neighbours can actually make it very difficult. I seemed to have an
easier ride here and also picked up the dangerous Black Death myself as
I was dreading being hit by that once I got ahead. Sorry to London, but
you had just chosen 35 tokens and I could see you eyeing up a Spanish
holiday!
Thanks to all - most enjoyable.
