End of Game Statements
Christopher Hunt: Thanks to Chris for running the game. Got lucky, only ever paid 1 gold to the tax collector. Poor house was worth its weight in gold. Had to get rid of graveyard getting destroyed buildings for 1 gold? Question would that be taxable? [GM: They would be taxable once built. The Graveyard allows destroyed buildings to be put into the player's hand, not city.]
Bill Scharf:
Congratulations to Christopher for winning this game, and thanks to
Chris for running it. Man a tough game, I don’t believe I ever had a
yellow card, and the cards I drew tended to be on the expensive side.
After two turns as the architect, my cheapest card cost five gold to
build! Still, it’s a fun game to play.
Chris Geggus: Excellent win by Christopher. More than twice my score - ouch! Always fun, although not sure I like the Witch character. Too vague and random for my liking. And thanks to Chris once again.
Kevin Wilson:
Still learning this one. Once again, I didn’t flip to VP vs.
opportunities fast enough. But, I can really see now how much fun this
one could be face-to-face. Play like this is fun but the
interaction is certainly a hoot. I need to be a little less
obvious in my choices and be more cunning (like playing Dune) in what I
choose to do.
Thanks to everyone playing and letting me learn. Thanks to Chris for running and congrats to Christopher for an excellent win.
I’ll keep trying, and letting someone else benefit from my inexperience, but I still find it fun.
