End of Game Statements
Chris Geggus: Yet again Dave switched at just the right time for another clear win. I loved the chaos, albeit that I thought I got badly hit early on putting me on the back-burner far too early. I really fancy playing that set again soon, even if it did make for a riotous and difficult set of turns. Thanks to Chris and well played all.
Dave Hooton: That was very close, if the card draw from my Ruined Library had not been a Silver, I would not have been able to buy a Duchy and Bill would have won. This card set certainly needed a new mindset to play. Thanks to Chris for running it.
Bill Scharf: I really enjoy playing dominion. I have every set and have played every set (even alchemy!). Congrats to Dave on his win, and thanks Chris for running it.
Christopher Hunt:
An enjoyable game. The problem with knights is that yay never
grow a big pot to spend. Ws never able to get a province.
Delayed buying duchies for a turn which with a minor change would have
brought into 1 behind but spilt milk. Great victory. Thanks to Chris as ever for showing mew the errors in my moves.
Kevin Wilson:
So was it just the inclusion of the Dark Ages or a combination of Dark
Ages and Intrigue that made that seem strange. Certainly not an
easy/great combination for a rookie like me. I have to go back and
check to see if I passed on any shot to grab a couple of VP, thinking
we’d still get another round or 2. Once again the end just slams
forward rather than plodding along. Congrats to Dave who sounds
as though he’s played this a lot. Thanks to Chris for running and to
the others for playing as I continue to learn the game.
